Hey Charlie, Ali, Ella, Dude, and JACOB!!!!! Wonderful news!! Cate is a powerful intercessor...I had NO IDEA you guys were going in today as i am off facebook and don't get your updates anymore..but i have been on meds that make me restless from 1-4am...and since being off of facebook, i have been praying rosaries "for those who need it Lord, you know who they are" instead of farting around on facebook to "see what everyone is up to!" What a blessing to know that the Lord knew where these prayers were needed! God is walking with you, as you know...and I pray that you just enjoy being able to walk with him now, instead of him having to carry you!! run wild with him and enjoy this journey!!

much love..

I found out about your blog via Matt Smith's blog...which I follow periodically. I have not been to your blog since Cate's passing. I was drawn here today for some reason and very excited to find out about Jacob. I just wanted to reiterate was seems to be so very clear...God is good!

I found your blog shortly before Cate's passing, hadn't been here in quite a while, but for whatever reason checked in yesterday. I knew you were expecting and wanted to see if their were any new updates. Isn't that amazing! I checked in YESTERDAY and was praying for you!!!!! What a GREAT and MIGHTY GOD we serve! :) Thrilled to hear that everything checked out so well! :)

Always glad to hear news like that! Never doubted for a second his heart would be healthy. I'm sure the 4 of you (& baby Cate) cannot wait to welcome him into the family. Cate's spirit lives on with all the people who knew her & even those that prayed for her. God took away & now he gives back. Much love from the Garys!

Ali and Charlie,
Just wanted to tell you that not a day goes by that you are not in my prayers along with other parents who have lost children. God bless you and your family. I wish you the best with your new baby boy.

Dear Catrells,

You might not remember me but We were at TCH when you were there with Cate June 08. Dillon is still doing well. Praise the Lord! I have just cried and smiled because of y'all. I have not forgotten you and continue to pray for your family. It's such a joy to hear of your new little Jacob!
We have a prayer request. A good friend of Dillon's is now fighting for his heart!

Harrison Hughes. He has a site on www.caringbridge.com please check it out and please pray. He is 16 and until never had a heart problem! Our hearts are heavy and I know you know what I mean! This heart family that TCH creates is huge and I feel because we are bonded in this way we share each other's burdens!

Thanks,

Susan DeMerchant

Do you think Cate wants her baby brother Jacob to be born on her birthday?? God bless all of you and still praying....

Susan DeMerchant said...

I don't know how to get a message to you any other way! But Harrison is still fighting. They had a very amazing day and god showed up big time. Then after a few day of regaining strength, he had a set back. Hoping for good news tomorrow. They are making some more decisions. What a mighty God we serve. Please pray with me for the Hughes family!

Thanks,

Dillon Mom. Susan DeMerchant
